- 12/10/2011- Fund Raiser for the Childrens Hospital of Colorado. Marla Knapp and Greg Chavez hosted a fund raiser Saturday with the help of students and staff donating all proceeds from sales amounting to $5,100 were donated to the Childrens Hospital of Colorado. Thank you to all who donated and participated the fund raiser was a big success!!!!
- 12/12/2011 Graduation. Congratulations to the Cosmetology August 2010 class and the Nail Technology March class!!!!!!!! Best wishes from The Salon Professional Academy staff!!!!

- Salon Visits | 10/11/2011 | Field Trip/Colorado Springs, Colorado
The Salon Professional Academy's students (January 2010 Cosmetology class & July 2010 Day Esthetics class) went on salon visits located in different parts of Colorado Springs. The students met salon owners, observed the salons cultures, and had the opportunity to ask the salon staff questions to help the students identify the type of salon or spa would best fit them.
